I do French to English literary and commercial translation, including film subtitling. Clients include Rosem Film, English PEN, Cartier, Maison Guerlain, Ferrari, Bottega Veneta, Lolita Lempicka and other marques de luxe, MAIF, Musée des Beaux Arts, Valenciennes, Olivier Robert Gallery, Paris, Keitelman Gallery, Brussels, Beckman N’Thépé Architects, and Dentons law firm.

Suite for Barbara Loden, by Nathalie Léger, was published in the UK by Les Fugitives in 2015 and in the US by Dorothy, a publishing project, in 2016. It was awarded the 2017 Scott Moncrieff prize for translation, and was shortlisted for several other prizes. Journey to the Land of the Real, by Victor Segalen (Atlas Press) was published in 2016. Recent translations include Robert Desnos’ New Hebrides, or the Punishments of Hell, The Sacred Conspiracya selection of previously unpublished writing by Georges Bataille and others, and Jacques Semelin’s The Survival of the Jews in France 1940-1944Memories of Low Tide, by Chantal Thomas, will be published next year by Pushkin Press.
