The 2017 Scott Moncrieff prize for literary translation was awarded to Suite for Barbara Loden, by Nathalie Léger (Supplément à la vie de Barbara Loden, P.O.L., 2012, winner of the Prix Inter 2012).

This was the fifty-second year that the Scott Moncrieff Prize for translation from French has been presented. It was judged by Ian Patterson and Michèle Roberts.
